Tanya De Leersnyder

I am a Junior Intermediate level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher and have been practicing Iyengar yoga since 1995. I teach weekend workshops and run Iyengar yoga retreats (currently in France and Devon).

I am absolutely passionate about yoga and the amazing benefits on a physical and emotional level. I find my yoga sessions are the one place where I can leave all my worries outside the door, focus completely on what I am doing and leave feeling rejuvenated, energized and generally calmer. In addition, I used to suffer from a lot of lower back pain and used to need to see a chiropractor on a regular basis. Since doing yoga on a regular basis, I hardly ever suffer from back pain and I am probably fitter than I was when I was 20!
