I have been practicing Iyengar yoga since 1995. I am absolutely passionate about it and the amazing benefits on a physical and emotional level. I find my yoga sessions are the one place where I can leave all my worries outside the door, focus completely on what I am doing and leave feeling rejuvenated, energized and generally calmer. In addition, I used to suffer from a lot of lower back pain and used to need to see a chiropractor on a regular basis. Since doing yoga on a regular basis, I hardly ever suffer from back pain and I am probably fitter than I was when I was 20!

Iyengar yoga is suitable for people from all walks of life and with different levels of ability. The attention to correct alignment and the level of support in Iyengar yoga, facilitated by various props is what makes it so accessible to all.
