My classes provide a safe environment for strengthening your core muscles. I like to offer sessions that take into account everybody’s personal needs, with adaptations to suit your body. Many people coming to classes have got niggles or injuries that they need to take care of when exercising, or those niggles and injuries can be the reason why they have taken up a class in the first place. I have been a Pilates Teacher for 7 years and a postnatal exercise teacher 14 years. I soon discovered that the kind of classes I offered to postnatal women, taking into account their quite vulnerable bodies and minds, could also work for the general public.
Pilates is also hugely beneficial in re-training your muscles after an acute or chronic injury; if you are of a more mature age; with specific conditions; in pregnancy and postnatally.
