Sarah Cesek

Sarah started practicing yoga as a late teen and quickly fell in love with it. She was drawn to the energy, challenge, and focus it required, experiencing more magic with each class. Her mat became a safe space, and yoga became a source of growth and discovery.
In 2014, Sarah traveled to Rishikesh, India, to train in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga and meditation. She then moved to Australia, teaching in studios across Melbourne and Brisbane, while deepening her own practice in Australia’s vibrant yoga culture. It was there she discovered her love for teaching fun, relaxed, yet challenging flow classes.
During this time, Sarah also completed Restorative and Pregnancy Yoga training. Later, experiencing pregnancy firsthand deepened her understanding of how yoga can positively impact both pregnancy and birth. Inspired by her own transformative birth experience, she trained with Janet Balaskas in London (2018) to become an Active Birth teacher, offering birth preparation workshops that combine practical knowledge and pregnancy yoga-inspired movement for labor.
Postnatally, yoga once again became a vital support, helping her strengthen and nurture her body while finding moments of calm in the demands of motherhood. After further training with Bliss Baby Yoga, Sarah now teaches postnatal yoga in her ‘Yoga for Mums’ classes, incorporating strengthening exercises and much-needed restorative postures.
"I’ve found yoga to be truly transformative. It’s given me friendships, incredible travel opportunities, and has supported me through two pregnancies and now motherhood."
Sarah’s classes are for everybody, and she encourages students to take ownership of their practice, adapting it to suit their needs.
