Brenda Waite


Brenda is a movement practitioner and teacher with over 25 years of experience in a range of creative and somatic movement methods. She first discovered Pilates as a tool for injury prevention and has been practicing enthusiastically ever since, qualifying as an instructor in 2018.
She holds a Level 3 Diploma in Exercise for Older Adults and has completed Bone Safe programming for Osteoporosis and Arthritis. Her recent CPD includes Pilates Programming for Female Pelvic Health Conditions.
Brenda’s diverse movement background informs and enriches her teaching, allowing her to offer a well-rounded, varied, and enjoyable Pilates programme for all ages and abilities. Her attentive and empathetic approach ensures that students feel comfortable yet challenged, with exercises adapted to suit individual needs, including pre-existing injuries.
Committed to ongoing learning, Brenda is currently studying Functional Anatomy and Structural Assessment (The Biomechanics Method) to further enhance her teaching.
