General Iyengar Yoga

Emma’s Iyengar yoga classes offer a chance to come home to yourself - supporting strength and flexibility while creating space for deep rest, balance, and self-awareness.

With a focus on alignment, breath, and mindful sequencing, Emma guides students through a practice that’s both grounding and expansive. Props are used to support each body and make the essence of every pose accessible - helping you to build strength, release tension, and experience the subtle energetic effects of the practice.

Each class is an opportunity to slow down and become more present, observing the habits and patterns that affect both body and mind. Through skilful use of posture, breath, and stillness, you’ll be supported to restore harmony across the physical, mental, emotional, and sensory layers of your being.

Emma teaches in a way that is inclusive, spacious, and sensitive to the needs of each individual. Whether you are new to yoga, returning after a break, or looking to deepen your practice, her classes offer a safe and steady foundation for exploration.

Practising Iyengar yoga since 2000, Emma continues to be inspired by yoga’s ability to nurture clarity, resilience and connection - on and off the mat.
