Kunda dance is inspired by Kundalini Yoga and incorporates Kundalini Yoga exercises, elements of Qi Gong, Tai chi, mantra and dance to give you a truly energetic and uplifting workout. This is designed to raise your vibration!
We start the class with a warm up and then start the main practice where we move through the energy centres of the body (Chakras) one by one. Some of the movements are fast, some are slow to co-incide with the different needs of your body. We use moving meditations and mantra to get the most out of the session, ending with a more traditional Kundalini Yoga style wind down and Shavasana
Kunda Dance is set to healing musical frequencies of 528 and 423, composed by Maya Feinnes who created the practice.
Just one hour of Kunda Dance helps to clear the chakras, stimulates the nervous system and balances the left and right brain hemispheres. It helps to balance your hormones and increases seratonin.
Further more – it’s really fun. Its a time to shake away fears and insecurities and cultivate more vibrancy.
