Stroud Yoga Space offers a variety of different yoga styles.

All yoga has the same set of asanas (postures) in common, but there are different ways of interpreting them, and so we have created descriptions of each style that we offer to help you find a style that appeals to you. Often the best way to discover is to try out a few different styles until you find one that resonates with you. We also have a few different forms of Pilates which are also listed below.

Head to Hips

James’ classes look to enhance any practice by deconstructing poses and movements to simpler exercises;  incorporating stretch and massage to build awareness in the body

The classes are centered around a love of movement providing  practical exercises, simple stretches alongside breathing techniques and hands on adjustments.  The classes are taught so that students can mindfully engage muscles and better understand their own movement patterns.

 

Each session should give you a greater understanding of your body, a new set of tools to help keep it moving with greater ease, as well as leaving you feeling relaxed, balanced and rejuvenated.

Suitable for beginners as well as the perfect supplement to other practices.
