Bridging the gap between Functional Movement and Yoga Asana with James Hunt

This two hour workshop will include a posture specific movement-based warm up, a brief anatomy of the muscles and their movement within the posture, what the individual physical limitations within this posture could be and techniques for overcoming the limitations and progressing your practise.

We will look at factors such as;
-How poor posture will influence your practice
-Overcoming the reliance of using over dominant muscles to do the work and discussion about activating dormant muscles
-How to create strength through alignment
-How growing confidence will bring ease to the posture
